T166 - Architecture 1: 3D Design
1 Full Year - Open to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors
Pre-requisite - None
Architecture 1: 3D Design introduces students to the exciting world of architecture through creative, hands-on exploration. Students learn the fundamentals of residential design and 3D visualization while developing their skills in sketching, modeling, and spatial thinking. Using industry-grade software, they’ll bring their ideas to life and build a strong foundation for future studies and careers in design, architecture, and construction.

T266 - Architecture 2: Systems and Sustainability
1 Full Year - Open to Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors
Pre-requisite - Successful Completion of T166 - Computer Aided Design & Graphics
Architecture 2: Systems and Sustainability takes design to the next level, building on the foundations from Architecture 1. Students dive deeper into how spaces are built and function—exploring interior design, construction methods, utility lines, environmental factors, and sustainable solutions. Through hands-on projects with drawing, 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, and scale model making, students bring their designs to life. It’s an exciting, creative, and technical journey that connects design thinking with real-world systems and sustainability.

T366 - Architecture 3: Independent Study
1 Full Year - Open to Juniors, & Seniors
Pre-requisite - Successful Completion of T266 - Explorations in Architecture & Engineering
Students who want to further their study in Architecture are encouraged to enroll. Individualized work in selected areas of Architecture is planned with the instructor. This is an opportunity for students to become more self-directed in developing skills.

T418 - PLTW Civil Engineering & Architecture (CEA)
1 Full Year - Open to Juniors & Seniors
Pre-requisite -Successful Completion of T302 Principles of Engineering
***Honor's Weighted Course
Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA) is the study of the design and construction of residential and commercial building projects. The course includes an introduction to many of the varied factors involved in building design and construction including building components and systems, structural design, storm water management, site design, utilities and services, cost estimation, energy efficiency, and careers in the design and construction industry. The major focus of the CEA course is to expose students to the design
and construction of residential and commercial building projects, design teams and teamwork, communication methods, engineering standards, and technical documentation. Students will analyze, design, and build electronic and physical models of residential and commercial facilities. While implementing these designs students will continually hone their interpersonal skills, creative abilities, and understanding of the design process. Students will use state of the art software, as used in the industry, to aid in the design process.
